This yellow fairy door is inspired by the magical yellow door from the story, The Faraway Tree. Fairy mythology says fairy doors can provide a magical portal between our world and the fairy realm. Place a fairy door inside a child’s bedroom on a wall, in a shadow box, or against a skirting board or shelf. Glue the fairy door outside using a strong, waterproof adhesive. Glue them on logs, potplants, or a wall, or add many onto a tree creating a magical faraway tree. Children can leave little messages and gifts for the fairies; sometimes with the help of a secret adult, the fairies might in return leave a note or small gift.
The fairy door is made from a resin-based material and is suitable for outdoors.
